Accommodation

The hash weekend will be based at Camping La Sousta https://uk.lasousta.com . It is a very large, 4 star campground located right next to the Pont Du Gard (easy walking distance-15 mins). The area surrounding includes a river and great hashing trails right next to the campground therefore no need to drive the entire weekend.

We are being given a group rate for the campground. The rate is 15 euro per person per night in a 3 bedroom, 6 bed cottage. NB-some cottage may have a two person bed instead of two beds so please clarify which you want.  If you prefer less roommates you will have to pay more, get the latest prices from the campground. If you are coming with a tent or camper, please tell the campground and you will receive a different price schedule.

The first thing that you need to do is to determine who you want to share a cottage with. Once you have this information, contact the campground and make your reservation for your cottage. They may not care about the names of all your roommates, just the number of people you are reserving for.

*Please note that you will also need to tell them if you want sheets and/or towels. There is a small charge for both or you can bring your own.

*Very important, you will need to make sure your cottage is clean when leaving or you may get charged a cleaning fee later on your credit card.

To reserve, simply call the campground at 0033466371280 or info@lasousta.com .  Please tell them you are with the group IndoNostalgia so they can try to group us together and you get the special rate.

The large town of Remoulins (with multiple bars and restaurants) is approximately 1.5 km from the campground with a nice walking path the whole way. Probably the location for the Friday night pub crawl and dinner.

Travel

The closest airports/trains are at Nimes (Ryanair from Stansted, 3 flights per week) and Avignon (Flybe from Birmingham and Southampton 1 flight per week). These are 20 km away from the venue and there is a bus service called Edgard Bus which takes you to Remoulins if people don't want to rent a car.

The Bear was travelling by train with a group of hashers who are allergic to Ryanair. The cost in 2020 was £385 return in “Standard Premier”. Their itinerary is:

Claire (Fraser) Philips found a direct Eurostar train from St Pancras to Avignon leaving at 7.19 arriving at 14.10. She paid £98 return but the fare may have increased. There is a direct return leaving at 16.00 on Monday.
